It’s really wonderful to find a PT who doesn’t need a Trans 101 and checks your pronouns as a matter of course. I’m learning a lot of exercises which I’d heard of but didn’t want to try on my own, as well as many completely new to me.

I’m learning what my body is capable of and being (pleasantly) surprised that it is a lot more than I expect. They’ve even helped increase my confidence in the gym environment, such that I am no longer intimidated by the free weights room!

I have seen such improvement in my fitness levels – working around an old injury – that I have complete faith in my trainer’s expertise. Huld walks the talk with an energy & enthusiasm that is infectious and never fails to motivate – not only in our twice-weekly sessions, but throughout the week.

Perhaps most important is that Huld plays to my strengths but works on my weaknesses – the right balance is a huge confidence boost. In short, this recently reformed couch potato is very happy to be a part of the Underdog Health Revolution.

I came to Huld with the idea for a really ambitious body-build as part of an art project I was working on. I had never used the gym before and I wanted to put on as much muscle mass as possible in six months. They rose to the challenge of training me and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I never would have achieved my goals without them! It was clear from the first training session that they had a wealth of expertise in reading people - this meant they could push me really far and keep me comfortable. In 5 months I went from lifting 30kg deadlifts to 80kg! That’s 130% my own body weight!!

I cannot recommend their energy, knowledge, humour, and openness enough.

Gyms are scary. Huld makes them not scary. They listen to you and encourage you and are really nice. I’ve a bad back and legs and they will change what they’d planned to accommodate that on the day if that’s acting up. 10/10 would PT again.
