Start standing, holding two equal dumbbells at your side.

Hinge at the hip and push your butt up and back, maintaining a neutral spine.

Driving through the elbows, pull both weights up wide, squeezing your shoulder blades together.

Lower them back down in a controlled movement.

Keep your torso and neck stable as one solid unit.

Find a position between parallel to the ground and a 45 degree angle.

If you find yourself drifting up, try lowering the weight.
