Dumbbell Snatch

  • Stand with legs slightly wide holding a single Dumbbell in one hand.

  • Lower yourself into a squat; butt down, chest up, heels on the ground, weight between your feet.

  • Push explosively through your heels as you pull the weight directly up.

  • At the top, punch the dumbbell at the sky.

  • Lower quickly but with control back into a squat and repeat.

  • .

  • Keep the ends of the dumbbell pointing to each side, don’t twist.

  • Maintain One Solid Unit from hips up.

  • Keep the weight as close to your body as possible both up and down, don’t swing it forward.
